Introducing my Interactive Spaces Bee Hive project, featuring the mini bee that follows your hand named Luke HoneyCombs. For this project I wanted to make a 3D installation nailed to the wall that was honeycombs rubber cemented on top of one another at different depths. The honeycombs would change color as you swipe your hand across them, and Luke HoneyCombs (the bee) would follow along with your hand.

Next, I created an illustrator document lining up yellow hexagons to project on to the 3D hexagons.

I then created my code in P5

I made all the hexagons, and I made it so as your hand hovers over them they turn red. I also included Luke HoneyCombs into the code. This was all done in P5.

I also made it so Luke HoneyCombs would follow your hand as well. That was done through the program VisionOSC which tracks your hands, face, body, etc. In this case, it tracked your hand.
